Video Game Rescue, an informative online video blog started in 2011, is moderated by Dustin Gartenbush of Jacksonville, Florida. An entrepreneur and video game enthusiast, Gartenbush has been interested in video games long before the birth of Generation Y. His passion for gaming is not limited to consoles and new age applications, but retro systems like Atari, NES and Sega as well. Gartenbush shares his knowledge and ideas in five weekly blogs, each with a different theme regarding the gaming world. Each video explores topics such as a retro “Find of the Week” and numerous gaming “cheat codes.” Tune in weekdays at 7A.M. for a new video blog.

Well this is the first weekend I’ve got a chance to go out and start cleaning and reorganizing the new store at the Pecan Park Flea Market. TONS of cleaning to be done and an unbelievable amount of work still ahead. I did find some neat treasures so far and will share a few in this video and over the next few weeks share more.

Just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for following me. Looks like a lot of people like the store i bought lol. I will start posting pictures of the store as I clean it up and some of the trades I get in. Thanks again and stay tuned!

So i bought a video game store…

So I saw an ad on Craigslist about a game store at Pecan Park Flea Market liquidating all of their inventory. I knew of only one video game store at this place and it is one of my favorite video game stores. I rushed over there Sunday to see if I could get a bunch of games for a really good deal and turns out I did lol. Looking around I thought to myself… “Self do you think they will sell you the entire store?” So I asked and after some dealings I am now the new owner for a video game store at the Pecan Park Flea Market in Jacksonville. I paid $3,000 for everything in the store, including all the inventory, the PS2 Kiosk, wall displays, register, etc. If you look at the pictures you can tell it’s going to need some love and it will get there soon. I will post more pictures in the coming weeks and announce the grand opening soon! I CANT WAIT!
